Crawl Space Encapsulation in Southport, NC

The homeowner had contacted us with concerns of their flooring being loose and soft, when we went into the crawl we saw the floors had been rotted and covered in mold. This is a very common occurrence here as we deal with a lot of humidity. That humid air gets trapped in the crawl space, having nowhere to go but up! This causes the floors of your home to sag and rot. Luckily we were able to help this home, create an encapsulated space in their crawl, and help replace their flooring. An encapsulated crawlspace with a sump pump and dehumidifier will make sure that issues like these will not happen again.

Attic Insulation

This attic was originally insulated with rolled insulation which tends to compress after some time. Blown insulation helps fill in those hard to reach places and maintains its blown in R-value. This customer is satisfied with their now properly insulated home.

Attic Insulation

This customer's attic was not properly insulated, causing uncomfortable temperatures in the home. After calling Carolina Energy Conservation, they decided to have blown-in cellulose insulation installed in their attic. The presence of insulation in the attic helped to seclude the heated/cooled air, inside the living space. It also cut some of their electric costs.

Blown in Cellulose

Attics are the number one priority of sealing and insulating in the process of making a house more efficient. When the attic is not properly insulated, major amounts of air can escape.  This is the number one cause of high energy bills. Adding proper amounts of blown in insulation will solve a large portion of energy inefficiency problems.

Spray Foam for an Outdoor Shed in Pawleys Island, SC

There are two types of spray foam insulation: Open Cell and Closed Cell

For this outdoor shed in Pawley's Island, our homeowner chose closed cell spray foam. Closed cell spray foam is dense and more resistant to moisture, making it better suited for exterior applications and areas with high humidity levels.

✅  Benefits

  • Very energy-efficient with proven energy savings of up to 50%
  • Provides an airtight seal
  • It’s water-resistant and deters mold
  • High R-value of 7
  • Longer lifespan than open cell spray foam
  • Strong enough to provide structural support wherever it is installed
  • Eco-friendly—it lasts longer and uses less material than any other insulation type

Protecting your home is our number one priority. Choosing spray foam insulation is the best option to prevent leaks and ensure your investment for years to come.
