This Conway family was eager to brighten their home, especially their kitchen. They discovered the Carolina Energy Conservation booth featuring Solatubes at the Myrtle Beach Home Show. Intrigued by the promise of natural light, they decided to get an energy evaluation and a quote for installation. They were particularly excited about the kitchen transformation. What caught their interest was the Solatube’s thoughtful design. It’s engineered to deliver abundant natural light without overwhelming the space. The softening lens ensures that light is diffused gently, preventing any bleaching of floors or furniture. They were also impressed by the solar-powered night light feature, which provides a soft glow after sunset, eliminating the need for harsh artificial lighting. The family now has a beautiful, naturally lit kitchen, and their house has become more energy efficient.
With the installation of Solatube, they also qualified for federal tax credits see more info on our website.
This longs resident was looking for less heat in his garage. The area above his garage was used for storage and it was cooking like an over.
After speaking with Jill in the appointment center and then Grant on site, the homeowner chose our garage insulation package. We install soft vents and blow in R-30 cellulose in open garage attic floor and under decking where accessible. We also install attic tent over attic access in garage.
The homeowner gave raving reviews of our install team, highlighting their friendliness and ability to keep the process clean! Go Team CEC!
The homeowner in Longs wanted to reduce the strain on their HVAC system and make their garage cooler to enhance energy efficiency. After reading positive reviews about Carolina Energy Conservation's insulation and home energy services, they decided to schedule an energy evaluation. The evaluation recommended installing cellulose insulation in the attic above the garage to an R-30 value. This would effectively block air leakage through small cracks and gaps, preventing heat from entering the garage and impacting the HVAC system's efficiency. With the installation of cellulose, their home will become more energy efficient and comfortable, leading to savings on energy bills.
It is wonderful to make a homeowner's day brighter and we did just that in Little River, South Carolina. This new construction home was almost perfect and the homeowner knew exactly what she wanted: A Solatube in both the bathroom and hallway. She had Solatubes in her previous home. "It is wonderful to go throughout the day without turning on lights in every room." We did it again, the natural light is such a beautiful addition to her home.
This Little River customer had concerns about the temperature within their storage units and wished to regulate the temperature to make them more comfortable while staying energy efficient. To address this issue and prevent heat from seeping into the units, Carolina Energy Conservation installed closed-cell spray foam. This type of insulation is an excellent choice due to its high R-value of about 6.0 per inch. It acts as a great insulator, preventing heat seepage and regulating internal temperature by sealing any gaps and leaks within the walls and ceilings, effectively locking out hot air. With the spray foam in place, the units are now well-insulated and will have better energy efficiency and temperature regulation.
