Spray Foam Crawlspace Insulation in Pawleys Island

Spray Foam Crawlspace Insulation in Pawleys Island Spray Foam Crawlspace Insulation in Pawleys Island

This Pawleys Island homeowner was looking for an energy-efficient solution to address their crawlspace, which had visible fiberglass insulation hanging down. They decided to ask their HVAC service company during a visit, and the company recommended Carolina Energy Conservation as specialists capable of handling any crawlspace need. After a free evaluation by one of our specialists, we recommended removing all the old insulation and replacing it with our premier spray foam. This new spray foam is more thermally efficient than fiberglass and would help save this homeowner's energy costs exponentially all while being mold resistant as well. This would also ensure air sealing throughout the crawlspace and improve air quality within the home. This seamless and effective process ultimately transformed the home’s overall comfort.

Moisture and Mold Control in Georgetown, SC

Michael had a lot of water in the crawl space beneath his home. He called Carolina Energy Conservation and one of our Comfort Specialists headed out to their home to inspect the crawl space.

Our professionals found lots of mold due to moisture, and damaged insulation. We sent out one of our crews to install Thermax insulation around the crawl space, followed by a 20 mil vapor barrier. The crew used "Seam Weld" to seal the vapor barrier off from moisture and earthen air, and construction adhesive to seal the barrier against foundation walls and support pillars.

Now, Michael doesn't have to worry about moisture and mold growth underneath his home!
